Moisture reaches substrate-coating interface, osmotic pressure causes blisters. Usually poor degreasing or insufficient film thickness.
Outdoor UV breaks resin backbone. Epoxy chalks in 1-2 years outdoors; must use PU/FEVE topcoat.
Residual iron ions on welds/cut edges propagate under coating in water film. Requires zinc-rich primer + edge thickening.
Low substrate surface energy or wrong primer. Plastics need flame treatment or adhesion promoter (BACOAT-ADH).
Aromatic PU (MDI) yellows under UV. Auto interior and 3C must use aliphatic HDI or UV systems.
Silicone contamination in spray environment or oil in compressed air. Add leveling agent and ensure 3-stage air filtration.
